While the rumor world is abuzz with the much-anticipated arrival of the reference devices of Google’s Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, we bring you the latest Android advertisement released by the American multi-national company. The ads were spotted by Droid Life which posted it to YouTube.  The ads feature ‘Androidifed’ people and the latest brand slogan, “Be together, not the same.”

Though, the ads do not refer to any device directly but one cannot help but take notice of a character, ‘Andy’ standing at the bus stop and flashing a huge device. This could be based on the next Motorola-powered Nexus 6 which is touted to have a 5.9 inch screen.  What is visible to the eyes is the new logo of Android L in this ad. It is to be noted that new flagship Nexus models will be packing in the new Android version.

If you ask me, these are really cute and deliver the message spot on!  Nailing Google’s approach to unify Android ecosphere in terms of user experience and appearance, this ad, I think, promote and coordinate the Android experience with the upcoming Android L or ‘Lollipop.’ The assortment of miniature ‘Androidified’ people reflects the multitudes of devices used across the world, in different sizes and with different user interfaces. While the Android ‘L’ binds them together, they still have their identity. Google also makes a valid point through the ads that Android is for all! From an elitist to a hippie and from a geek to the-girl-next-door, everyone out there can use it.

It will be too early to say anything about the coincidence that Google flagship Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 are coming this month, just at the time of the ad release. In all possibilities, Google can release the new hardware even today to stole the thunder from Apple’s big event on Thursday, Oct 16th where the California based company is going to roll out Yosemite and Apple Pay. Or it could be the other way around where it might want the buzz to die down.

All we can say for now is that these ads do the perfect job to promote the new Android version and create the right noise. Since Google plans to promote the new kid aggressively, hence these three ads which surfaced just last night.
