Major manufactures are in line to release big Smart phones this year and Google do not want to be left behind. Google are hinting the release of the Nexus 6 on October at the Google I/O 2014 conference. It will replace the current Nexus 5 on the market. We all expect the Nexus 6 to come with a bang so let us look at the comparison between these two Google Smartphones.
Google are the technology gurus behind the manufacture of Android Operating Systems. The Nexus 5 operates on an upgradable Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS and we expect the Nexus 6 run the latest Android OS. It is rumored that it will operate on either an Android 4.5 OS or an Android 5.0 which is also being labeled as Android L.
Display and screen size
The Nexus 6 is rumored to attribute a massive 5.5 inch screen just like the one in the LG G3. The screen resolution is set to be out of the ordinary with a 2560 x 1440 p which is a 2K display. The Nexus 5 in contrast has a smaller True HD IPS+ screen at 4.95 inches. The screen resolution display is a standard 1080 x 1920 p. In addition, the Nexus 5 has pixel strength of 445 ppi and the Nexus 6 is expected to have pixel strength of an advanced pixel density of 534 ppi.
Body and design
The Nexus 5 has a simple body and design and for this reason it doesn’t brag a first-class look. It has a plastic exterior and is flat. However, it is acknowledged for its remarkable full HD display quality. According to reports from Nexus6Me, the Nexus 6 is alleged to come with aluminum edges which will be accompanied with thin bezel and will also have a flat body.

Camera and battery
The Nexus 5 features a primary camera of 8 MP accompanied with a front-facing rear camera of 1.3 MP. The battery is a 2300 mAh. On the other hand, the Nexus 6 is rumored to have an outstanding primary camera of 13 MP and a front-facing rear camera of 5 MP which is very impressive. The battery will be 3100 mAh.
Hardware and other specs
The Nexus 6 will feature a concrete 3 GB RAM. As well, it will come with an internal storage memory of a striking 16 GB and 32 GB with no support of a micro SD card expansion. On the other hand, the Nexus 6 has a 2 GB RAM and an internal storage memory of 16 GB and 32 GB and just like the Nexus 6, it does not support micro SD card expansion.
The Nexus 6 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Quad core Krait 450 processor which will be clocked at 2.7 GHz. In contrast, the Nexus 5 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Quad core Krait 400 processor which is clocked at 2.3 GHz.
